Information you provide
If you submit the contact form, the hosting provider may process the name, email address, topic, page address, and message you provide. Use the form only for information you are comfortable sending. The site does not require user accounts.
Calculator and tool inputs
Interactive calculators are designed to run in the browser. Entered values are not intentionally written to an Daily Answer Tools database. Browser features, hosting logs, extensions, or third-party services may operate outside this site's direct control, so do not enter unnecessary sensitive information.
Optional AI answers
When you choose Ask AI, the question, selected help mode, current resource path, IP address, and standard request metadata may be processed by Netlify, OpenRouter, and the model provider selected through OpenRouter. Daily Answer Tools does not intentionally save an AI conversation database, but infrastructure and providers may keep logs under their own policies.
Local search filtering does not require an AI request. Do not submit passwords, government identifiers, financial account numbers, health records, private student records, confidential employer information, or other unnecessary sensitive data. OpenRouter routing is configured to deny providers that collect prompts for training where that routing control is supported, but provider retention terms can still vary.
Technical and analytics data
The hosting provider may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security signals. Analytics are disabled unless a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured. If analytics are enabled, Google may process usage information according to its own terms and privacy documentation.
Advertising
Development builds display advertising placeholders. If Google AdSense is enabled after approval, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. Consent or opt-out controls may be required based on visitor location and the site's production configuration.
Retention, disclosure, and choices
Contact submissions may be retained as needed to respond, maintain correction records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Information may be disclosed to service providers that operate the site or when required by law. Contact us to ask about a submitted message; identity verification may be required.
